Tiptree man arrested on suspicion of importing drugs into U

Sussex Police say they stopped a white BMW on the A259 last week.

The driver was stopped for having no MOT for the vehicle, for not being insured to drive the vehicle and for not having a valid driving licence.

Meanwhile, the vehicle was also seized by police.

When recovering his vehicle at the police station, officers say it was found he was an outstanding wanted person from 2022 on suspicion of importing class A drugs into the UK, so he was arrested.

Sussex Police has confirmed a 32-year-old man from Tiptree was arrested on suspicion of importing a class A drugs.

He has been bailed, pending further enquiries.
