Brighton: Three drug arrests after Kemp Town hotel death

She was pronounced dead at the scene inside the OYO Gulliver’s Hotel at around 4.30am on Wednesday.

Three people – a 43-year-old man and two 41-year-old women were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a class A drug.

New Steine in Kemp Town, Brighton, was blocked off by several police cars while officers were seen carrying evidence bags out of the property.

One neighbour described the moment he woke up to see “at least four” police cars outside his window.

“They were blocking the road,” he said. “I saw a woman being led out by police.”

A spokeswoman for Sussex Police told The Argus enquiries are ongoing.
